Sustainability and Innovation
Through the analysis and identification of the most effective policy actions, ALOT promotes the spread of technologies and infrastructures for sustainable mobility of people and goods. We work alongside Public Administrations in introducing regulations, guidelines, and planning tools (such as SUMPs and SULPs – Sustainable Urban Mobility/Logistics Plans – strategic plans for SEZs – Simplified Logistics Zones – and guidelines for electric mobility). We also support Private Companies in research and development, as well as in the creation and promotion of their products and services.
ALOT’s model is built on sustainable and innovative territorial planning, bringing together Public Administrations, Private Companies, citizens, associations, and academia. A shared journey to improve mobility for everyone’s benefit.
Opportunities arising from new forms of shared mobility (particularly in urban areas), from the integration of mobility with alternative fuels (including RES – Renewable Energy Sources, electric mobility, and hydrogen), and from digitalisation are fostered through participatory initiatives, public–private co-design, and targeted awareness campaigns aimed at citizens as well as political and economic decision-makers.
ALOT assists its clients throughout the entire project cycle – from drafting and building a successful network to implementation and final reporting.
